Thrive Healthcare is a integrative medical practice based in McHenry, Illinois that provides accessible, professional, and personal care for the whole family.

Our Team

Thrive is made up of a team of fun loving and passionate medical professionals. We are deeply rooted in the community and many of the staff are married to (or are) local firefighters. We love supporting our community, contributing to youth sports, and other small McHenry county businesses.

What are your hours?
Monday to Thursday – 9:00-4:30.
We are closed on most D47 holidays, institute, and early release days.
What insurance do you take?
PPO only – BCBS, UHC, Cigna, Aetna.
We also have reasonable cash pay rates for those without insurance.
Do you give vaccines in the office?

Vaccines are not administered at our office at this time.
Please bring all the needed paperwork with you to your visit!

Do you sign off on religious vaccination exempt forms?
Yes, we do.
Can you do a DOT exam?
Yes, we offer DOT exams for $150.
Can you see babies/children?
Yes! We are passionate about our little patients and enjoy being part of their development. We offer care starting at birth.
Can you do school/sports physicals?

Yes, we can.

Can the providers at Thrive Healthcare prescribe medications?
Yes, all of the providers at Thrive Healthcare are able to prescribe any needed medications after consultation.
What IV's do you offer?
We offer several variations of IVs including: NAD+, Myer’s Cocktail, Vita Boost, Vitamin C, and others. Click here to learn more about all our IV offerings.
How long is a typical appointment?

Because we truly want to provide enough time to hear all your concerns and thoughts, you can plan to be in our office for about an hour. 

Is Chelsey like a regular doctor or is she more holistic?
Chelsey is a full-practice authority family nurse practitioner, she feels that treating the whole person is crucial to their wellness. That being said, Chelsey practices a multifacted approach to treating patients incorporating both holistic practices and medication when necessary.
Will I be pushed to take a medication?

All treatment plans are collaborative and are created to suit your lifestyle and beliefs. We will never pressure you into a treatment plan you’re not comfortable with.
